Slow Cooker Swiss Steak

Ingredients

  • 1 to 1 1/2 pounds round steak
  • 2 cans mushrooms drained
  • 2 15 ounce diced tomatoes
  • 2 small can tomato sauce
  • 1 medium onion sliced
  • 6 medium potatoes peeled and sliced
  • 4 medium carrots peeled and sliced
  • 3 medium celery stalks
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cut steak into serving size pieces. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

  2. Put potatoes in bottom of slow cooker. Add steak, celery, onions, mushrooms, and carrots.


  3. Add canned tomatoes and tomato sauce and sprinkle with garlic powder.

  4. Cook on low for 8-10 hours or on low for 4-6 hours.
