You really hit the nail on the head! I for one enjoyed most of the baby phase.....I had a pretty easy baby. I was also fortunate enough to be a stay at home mom (which I wanted to do) however...... when my daughter was 6-7 we moved twice in one year. Her way of dealing with that was to have issues with her clothes. She went from easy to dress and loving to shop to a total diva that had something wrong with almost every article of clothing she owned. Getting ready for school left us both in meltdown mode. For her, there was something wrong with her panties, socks or the options of what to wear. My solution..... I noticed that she liked about three outfits in her closet. So....I told her that I would pack up (and did) pack up the rest of her clothes. So, for most of second grade, she wore a combination of three or four outfits. She will be 32 in April, and still sets out her clothes for the next day before she goes to bed.
Needless to say, I was glad and appreciative of all stages....especially when she left home. We love our empty nest, and are equally satisfied with no grandchildren.....
