Texas Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • 1 15 ounce can pineapple rings undrained
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded coconut
  • 1 box white or yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup pecan halves
  • 2 sticks butter melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

  2. Spray 9x13 pan with nonstick spray.

  3. Put pie filling in bottom of 9x13 pan, top with undrained pineapple and shredded cocount.

  4. Pour dry cake mix over the layers then add pecans. Pour melted butter/margarine over everything and bake for approximately 1 hour in heated oven.

  5. Best served warm.
